First look at Ferrari's new car for the 2020 season
The Scuderia reveal their brand new look
Ferrari have officially revealed their brand new contender car for the 2020 Formula One season - the SF1000.
In an event at the Romolo Valli Municipal Theatre in Reggio Emilia on Tuesday, they became the first of the 10 constructor teams to show off their new car.
It will be driven by four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc, who won two races in his maiden campaign with Ferrari in 2019.
The SF1000 name comes from the fact that Ferrari will take part in their 1000th race in Formula 1 in 2020.
"Ferrari is proud of Italy. We are proud to represent Italy in the world," said Ferrari chairman John Elkann. "The Ferrari SF1000 is called this because in this world championship, Ferrari will run its 1000th Grand Prix, and if you look at the 70 years of Formula One, Ferrari has been a part of it since the beginning.
"We have race 991 Grand Prix and won 238, and in spite of all these victories, we're still eager to win."
Ferrari became the first of the top order to reveal their 2020 entry after Mercedes revealed their new livery only on Monday.
