Rain expected for Saturday at Spanish GP?

A change of weather forecast has brought a chance of rain to the Circuit de Catalunya ahead of final practice and qualifying for the Spanish Grand Prix. The FIA has given teams an extra pair of wet-weather tyres for Saturday.

The weekend had been expected to pass without interruption from the skies, and the FIA's move surprised many.

According to the Met Office and BBC, there remains less than a 5 per cent chance of rain in Saturday's running.
