The current Formula One world champion joined celebrities and socialites from around the world at the 2018 Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum in New York yesterday, and dazzled in his all-white outfit just a few days before the upcoming Spanish Grand Prix.

Hamilton has reportedly signed up for exclusive dating site, Raya, which is designed to hook up influential people and celebrities with their perfect partner.

The new app is extremely exclusive, and wannabe daters can only get access after being approved by a committee and recommended by someone already signed up.

According to insiders, he is currently searching for 'The One' after being reportedly single since splitting from popstar Nicole Scherzinger in 2015.

“Lewis has been swiping a lot of socialites in London and uses it when travelling. He's happy being single, but would like to find The One eventually." the source said.

The Met Gala had a Catholic theme in 2018, and Hamilton celebrated the theme by turning up head to toe in white, including white custom-made boots.

The event went from the stylish to the bizarre at times, as Rihanna emerged with a Pope-inspired outfit, while Katy Perry nearly knocked over her assistant after donning large angel wings.

Elsewhere, Kanye West was looking typically happy next to his wife, Kim Kardashian.
