Perez once again struggles in qualifying

Monaco is the latest poor qualifying session for Perez, who failed to make Q3 in Imola ruining his chances of a good result in the race.

He finished eighth behind the two Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, and was unable to support Max Verstappen when he was threatened by Lando Norris at the end of the race.

Verstappen made it through to Q2, but has also struggled this weekend being outpaced by his rivals.

World champion Fernando Alonso failed to make it through to Q2, and will start at the back in P16.
