F1 team announce EXCITING driver signing as 2025 line-up confirmed

Alpine Formula 1 team have confirmed that junior star Jack Doohan will partner Pierre Gasly next season, locking in their 2025 driver pairing.

In doing so, Alpine have made an exciting and bold choice, opting to promote one of their junior stars and take a chance on a rookie driver instead of going for one of the many experienced names still available.

Doohan, 21, will team up with Pierre Gasly as they look to compete further up the field with a blend of experience and youth.

Current Alpine driver Esteban Ocon has already confirmed that he will be joining Haas in 2025.

"I am very grateful for the trust and belief by the team’s senior management. There is so much work ahead to be prepared and ready and I will give my best in the meantime to absorb as much information and knowledge to be ready for the step up.

Elsewhere, Alpine F1 team principal Oliver Oakes expressed his excitement over the decision.
