Australian GP - did the Albert Park track changes work?

Australian Grand Prix organisers showcased Albert Park's first track changes since the track made its debut in 1996 to great fanfare ahead of F1's return after a three-year absence.

Numerous corners were widened while an old chicane was removed in a bit to aid the racing at a circuit where overtakes had been at a premium in previous races.

While the FIA removed one of the originally planned four DRS zones on the grounds of safety ahead of final practice, for the most part, it failed to detract from the show.

Fans responded as a record Albert Park crowd of just under 420,000 across the three days gathered to witness Ferrari's Charles Leclerc enjoy an imperious race, claiming F1's 'grand slam' of pole, victory, fastest lap, leading every lap.
