Miami GP provides F1 circuit progress update

Organisers of the Miami Grand Prix have released a series of images updating fans on progress being made ahead of F1's visit in May.

F1 will race in Miami for the first time this year on the newly constructed Miami International Autodrome on May 8.

The circuit is based around the Hard Rock Stadium and is comprised of 19 corners.

The images released largely focus around the turn 17 hairpin that loops back to the start line although one image highlights the twisting first sector segment of turns four-eight.

The latter section is one of the only remaining areas where asphalt is yet to be laid.

Although the circuit itself is largely completed, a significant amount of work remains on the facilities with grandstands, barriers and the pit structure far from completion.

GPFans has collated the images in a gallery that you can view below.
