F1 Reimagined - 2021 liveries on modern classics

F1 reimagined is back with GPFans once again answering the question, what would the 10 liveries look like when placed on regular road-going machinery?

In last year's edition, GPFans deputy editor Sam Hall adapted designs for classic cars of the 1950s and 60s, but this time around elected to utilise more modern models and, where possible, ones relevant to the teams concerned.

Let us know your thoughts on the finished products in the comments at the bottom of the page!

Mercedes - Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG

Mercedes retained its black livery from 2020 into 2021 and the look, whilst not a drastic change on previous years, again proved to be eye-catching. Of course, the faster the car, the more attractive the livery becomes!

Alfa Romeo - Alfa Romeo 4C

Although one of the more popular looks at the start of the season, this design went the opposite way to that of Mercedes from spectacular to forgettable. Will time bring back the love for this one?

AlphaTauri - Honda Civic Type R

If you invert the colours of AlphaTauri's 2020 design, you end up with its 2021 look. This was a case of it wasn't broken, so no fix was needed!

Red Bull - Honda NSX

A similar story for Red Bull. The team has a solid brand identity and has stuck with a similar look since 2016.

Aston Martin - Aston Martin DB11

After rebranding from Racing Point, Aston Martin had complete freedom with its look and the outcome was sadly disinteresting. The BWT pink doesn't fit with the overall look and, whilst it is great to have Aston Martin green feature heavily, there is plenty of scope for improvement into 2022.

Ferrari - Ferrari La Ferrari

Ignoring the Mission Winnow green, this is far from a bad look for Ferrari. The black is a throwback to the late 80s and early 90s but a solid red rather than the fade to burgundy at the rear could have improved things even further.

Alpine - Alpine A110

A solid start for Alpine and it's hard to see where they go from here. My vote would be to follow the example of Red Bull and stick with this look for a number of years!

McLaren - McLaren P1

Evolution rather than revolution for McLaren and who can complain?

Haas - Ford GT

Ignoring the 'is it, isn't it' Russian controversy from the start of the year, this is far from being a poor look. Just to reinforce the red, white and blue American message, however, have a Ford GT!

Williams - Jaguar F-Type

A polarising look at the start of the year, this has grown in popularity, a rise that was no doubt aided by the points scores of both George Russell and Nicholas Latifi.

Which livery is your favourite?
