Ian Parkes - GPFans Global editor in chief
"We witnessed what I would suggest is one of the most remarkable driving performances, certainly that I have seen during my time covering Formula 1, and probably for those that can recall races going into yesteryear probably, in Formula 1's history.
"Just astonishing stuff and quite a fascinating weekend."
Sam Hall - GPFans Global deputy editor
"It was just one of those drives that I suspect if you talk to Lewis, he said last year after the Turkish Grand Prix that he got into a different zone, I suspect if you talked to him in a few days, he would say the same thing about this race.
"He was frankly unbeatable there and I thoroughly agree with Ian that if that is not Lewis' best performance, putting the sprint and GP together as you have got to do, it was definitely a top three career performance from Lewis."
Ewan Gale - GPFans Global F1 writer
"He was just outstanding. It was pretty much his best race in F1.
"It was very similar to his race in GP2 in Turkey in 2006 where he fell to the back after early contact, overcame the adversity and just scythed his way through the field.
"It was just fantastic."
