After 116 days of relative inactivity, Ferrari Formula 1 drivers Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc returned to action on Tuesday with a day of running at the Mugello circuit.

Although driving the 2018 SF71-H, it was an opportunity for the drivers to sample an F1 car again, as well as learning to appreciate the new protocols they and the race team will have to adhere to when the racing resumes in Austria on July 3-5.

Here, GPFans brings you some of the best images from the day as Ferrari, Vettel and Leclerc made a welcome reappearance ahead of the 2020 campaign.
