Valtteri Bottas emerged from a blustery second practice session for the British Grand Prix as the fastest man on-track, as several drivers – including Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton – struggled to keep to the track limits.
Hamilton ran off-track at Chapel when he looked set to better Bottas' top time.
McLaren once again assumed 'best of the rest' status, with Lando Norris in sixth ahead of Verstappen – a solid response after his comical trip into the gravel during a show run in a McLaren super car on Thursday.
