NASCAR driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. taunted Cup Series rival Carson Hocevar ahead of Sunday's race at Pocono as their beef continues.

The pair have been in somewhat of a feud in recent weeks, all kicking off when Hocevar wrecked Stenhouse Jr at Nashville earlier this month.

Following that race, many expected Stenhouse Jr to get his revenge; however, the two drivers were able to clear the air with a phone call ahead of Michigan.

However, the following week at Mexico City, Hocevar collided with Stenhouse Jr. once again, and post-race, he was furious. Storming over to Hocevar's car, Stenhouse Jr. leant into the window of the No. 77 and threatened to 'beat his a**' once the pair got back to the United States.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr: Carson Hocevar beef will 'come to a head'

Ahead of Sunday's race at Pocono, all eyes were on the pair, with many expecting a clash on track.

Stenhouse Jr.'s words prior to the race, however, suggest he is going to bide his time, with the driver of the No. 47 taunting Hocevar that things will come to a head at the 'right time'.

"Honestly, tired of talking about the kid," Hocevar told NBC Sports' Dustin Long pre-race.

"Eventually, it'll come to a head, in the right place, right time, eventually. We'll cross that bridge when we get there.

"He probably will be looking over his shoulder for a long time, and we'll see how that goes."

As expected, having heard Stenhouse Jr.'s comments, nothing came to a head at Pocono this past weekend, despite the pair having been in close quarters on track at some stages.

However, his comments make it clear that when he thinks the moment is right, he will exact his revenge.
