Red Bull release staff member over racist messages
Red Bull has released a member of staff after personal messages containing racist language were released on social media.
The employee was not a high-profile member of the trackside operation team.
A statement from the team read: "We condemn racist abuse of any kind.
"We have a zero-tolerance approach to racist behaviour within our team.
"The person in question is no longer an employee of Red Bull Racing. We will not be commenting further at this stage."
The messages have come to light after the team recently stood with the rest of F1 in condemning the racist abuse received by Lewis Hamilton on social media following his British Grand Prix collision with Red Bull driver Max Verstappen.
