Vettel finished 10th in the Tuscan Grand Prix
Sebastian Vettel became only the fifth driver in Formula 1 history to score points in 200 races courtesy of his 10th place finish at the Tuscan Grand Prix.
The four-time world champion has had a season of struggle with Ferrari, managing to collect points on just five occasions to leave him a lowly 13th in the standings.
As the driver with the third-highest number of wins in F1, while he is equal fourth in terms of the number of titles, Vettel's legacy is not over yet after it was confirmed last week he would be joining Aston Martin from 2021 onwards, so he is set to move up the rankings further.
In good company

Lewis Hamilton broke Michael Schumacher's record for most points finishes on Sunday, with the Briton now topping the list with 222.
Behind him sits Schumacher with 221 and in third, Vettel's former team-mate Kimi Raikkonen, who scored his first points of the season in Mugello, with 214
Rounding out the other drivers with 200+ points finishes are Fernando Alonso, who returns to F1 next season in 2021 with Alpine, who has 202, and now Vettel on 200.
Most points finishes in F1 history 1. Lewis Hamilton - 222 (2007 - present) 2. Michael Schumacher - 221 (1991 - 2006, 2010 - 2012) 3. Kimi Raikkonen - 214 (2001 - present) 4. Fernando Alonso - 202 (2001 - 2018) 5. Sebastian Vettel - 200 (2007 - present) 6. Felipe Massa - 165 (2002, 2004 - 2017) 7. Jenson Button - 162 (2000 - 2017) 8. Rubens Barrichello - 140 (1993 - 2011) 9. Nico Rosberg - 133 (2006 - 2016) 10. Alain Prost - 128 (1980 - 1991, 1993)
Placing it in context
It should, of course, be noted that points finishes have drastically changed over the years. From 1950 to 1960, only the top-five finishers received points.
From 1961 to 2002, it was the top six, and from 2003 to 2009, it was increased to eight before the current top-10 system was introduced in 2010.
This is why the list largely consists of 'modern-era' drivers, which makes Alain Prost's appearance in the top 10 all the more impressive.
