F1 kicks off a new season at the Bahrain Grand Prix this weekend.

Red Bull and Max Verstappen are heavy favourites to win at the Bahrain International Circuit having impressed during pre-season testing last week.

This tag was further backed up as the Dutchman secured pole position on Saturday with team-mate Sergio Perez joining him on the front row ahead of the Ferrari duo of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz.

With Friday practice out of the way, GPFans takes a look at the weather forecast for the weekend.

Sunday

Temperatures will rise for race day which could put an emphasis on tyre wear, with minimum temps set for 20 degrees.

There is no surprise that rain is not forecast, though wind speeds have dropped ever so slightly with the highest speeds predicted being eight miles per hour.
