ROKiT remain 'fully committed to existing motorsport partnerships'
ROKiT have calmed fears that they may have been about to pull the plug on further motorsport partnerships, issuing a brief statement in the wake of their split with the Williams Formula 1 team on Friday morning.
When Williams announced that the termination of their relationship with ROKiT, concern immediately grew over the future of other series and teams backed by the telecommunications company.
A spokesperson for ROKiT clarified: "Following their announcement this morning, ROKiT would like to take this opportunity to wish Williams well with their plans for a potential sale of the Formula 1 team.
"As a group, ROKiT remains fully committed to its other existing motorsport partnerships and the exploration of additional strategic partnerships in the near future."
Away from Williams, the W Series has a multi-year deal in place with ROKiT while the Venturi Formula E team enjoy a title partnership that stretches to 2022.
