Denny Hamlin has claimed ‘all will be exposed’ later this year in 23XI Racing's ongoing lawsuit against NASCAR.

All six cars belonging to 23XI and Front Row Motorsports were forced to compete as ‘open’ entries last weekend at Dover, after the courts denied the two teams a temporary restraining order which would have prevented NASCAR taking their charters back.

When asked during Saturday’s press conference if he was concerned that 23XI star Tyler Reddick could be lured away by a rival team, Hamlin promised ‘all will be exposed’ later this year.

“I don’t have any direct comment on that,” he said.

“All I can tell you, and this is going to be my blanket answer to all questions about this, is that if you want answers, if you want to understand why this is all happening…Come December 1 you will get the answers that you are looking for and all will be exposed.”

Could Reddick leave 23XI Racing?

Concerns remain that Reddick’s contract could be voided due to 23XI Racing's status as an open team, which would trigger a clause that would allow him to be recruited to a rival team.

When quizzed on the ongoing legal proceedings at Dover, Reddick refused to comment and said: “Everything related to litigation, charters – I don’t have a comment for at this time.”

The 29-year-old crossed the line in 12th after Sunday’s race at Dover International Speedway, whilst also losing out to Ty Gibbs in the In-Season Challenge as the $1million prize slipped from his grasp.

Meanwhile, Hamlin was able to ignore the noise around the ongoing legal proceedings and claim his fourth victory of the season.

The Joe Gibbs Racing star survived a late challenge from Chase Briscoe on fresh tires and achieved his 58th career victory.
