NASCAR Cup Series champions Kyle Busch and Joey Logano have expressed vastly different feelings as drivers prepare to compete for a $1 million prize.

The first edition of NASCAR's In-Season Challenge is set to start at Atlanta this Saturday, with 32 drivers set to go head-to-head in a bracket-style tournament in the coming weeks to determine a winner.

Not all drivers are on the same page with regards to the tournament, however, with Busch making it clear how he feels about it when talking to the media at Pocono this past weekend.

Asked if he will be paying attention to the In-Season Challenge once it kicks off, the two-time champion kept it short and sweet: "I will not, nope."

Joey Logano has his eyes on the prize

Reigning Cup Series champion Joey Logano is of a different mind, however, revealing earlier this month that the prize money for the winner is enough to get his attention.

"You have to race every one of them hard and the same thing with this in-season tournament," Logano explained on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

"There's a million bucks on the line. That's plenty for me to go to work. I get it.

"You saw how upset I was at the All-Star Race, right? It's the same number, so I'm gonna be in here."

On top of that, the Team Penske star believes it gives everybody something to talk about mid-season, other than the playoff chase.

"I think it's something great," he added. "It gives us something to talk about at this point of the year, outside of just the teams that are trying to make the playoffs, the guys that are already in the playoffs, like it gives a little something more.

"I think it's a great idea. Something that I'm excited to see how it plays out, and I'm sure it's going to be something exciting enough that we'll probably do it again."
