Another weekend of NASCAR Xfinity Series action is in the books following Saturday's Chilango 150 at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City.
The race was won by home favorite Daniel Suarez, with the Mexican Cup Series star dropping down to compete in the Xfinity Series at his home race and delivering a crowd-pleasing result after 65 laps of exciting action.
Suarez did so after being hit with a tail-end penalty at the start of the race having switched to a backup car following a crash in qualifying, and it turned out that this would be the first of a whole load of penalties handed out by the officials during Saturday's race.
Six further drivers joined the Mexican in heading to the rear at the start, for example, in their instance for 'unapproved adjustments', with NASCAR's official infraction sheet showing a total of 36 in-race penalties during the Xfinity Series race.
As is often the case with these reports, the most common of which was 'pitting before pit road is open', which resulted in a tail-end penalty for 13 drivers on Saturday, including Ty Gibbs, another Cup Series star stepping down to race, who found himself being punished.
Elsewhere, six Xfinity Series drivers were also hit with penalties for 'speeding on pit road', including championship contenders Sam Meyer and Jesse Love.
Whilst most infractions during Saturday's race resulted in a tail-end penalty, there were two stop-and-go penalties handed out, too, with Kris Wright and Anthony Alfredo (twice) hit for shortcutting the course.
With all of that said, you can find the full official NASCAR infraction sheet from Saturday's Xfinity Series race below.
