Leclerc, Verstappen and Hamilton under investigation after Austrian GP
The top three at the Austrian Grand Prix have all been summoned to the FIA race stewards.
Charles Leclerc held off Max Verstappen despite a late-race throttle scare to take his first victory since the third round of the season, with Lewis Hamilton finishing third at the Red Bull Ring.
But all three have been called to the stewards' office for a breach of parc fermé instructions.
The summons letter stated the trio had allegedly breached Article 12.2.1.i) of the International Sporting Code, which reads: "Failure to follow the instructions of the relevant officials for the safe and orderly conduct of the event."
It is suspected the breach may be related to the post-race procedure notes issued beforehand that state: "Driver physios must wait outside the cool down room behind the podium until the podium ceremony has concluded."
The summons adds extra drama to what was a thrilling Austrian GP in which Ferrari looked destined to secure a one-two finish.
Carlos Sainz was breathing down Verstappen's neck for second place before his engine spectacularly expired on the run to turn four, leaving the F1-75 engulfed in flames.
Leclerc was then reeled in by the Red Bull driver as he complained of a throttle issue, but the Monégasque held on to end his win drought.
