Lewis Hamilton was the 10th highest-earning athlete of the last decade, according to Forbes.

Hamilton has regularly featured in the magazine's annual rich lists, having built up a vast paycheck in a decade that he has spent the second half of largely dominating the sport.

According to Forbes, the six-time world champion has amassed $400million in salary and sponsorship across the last 10 years.

Remarkably, that only puts him 10th overall, with the biggest hitters on the list, undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr and Cristiano Ronaldo having pulled in at least double that.
