Hamilton responds to Monza booing

Lewis Hamilton says he can take his rough treatment from Monza's Tifosi, but hopes he can one day win over Ferrari's support.

Hamilton was booed loudly at Monza a year ago when he piped Kimi Raikkonen to take victory.

The Tifosi were in much better mood this time around as Charles Leclerc took Ferrari's first in on home soil since 2010, fighting off both Hamilton and Mercedes team-mate Valtteri Bottas.

The Brit was still subjected to booing from the home fans, and later said the Monza podium is the "worst all year" for him due to the treatment.

Taking to Instagram post-race, Hamilton offered a message to both his fans and detractors.
