As the Formula 1 paddock awaited news of Ferrari's hearing with the FIA over Sebastian Vettel's Canadian GP penalty, Lewis Hamilton potentially committed the same mistake in French GP practice. As Vettel corrected an error in Hamilton's path in Montreal, the Mercedes man impeded Verstappen after running wide in FP2. The stewards took notice, with an investigation to follow the session.
