The starting lineup for the NASCAR Cup Series race in Mexico City, also known as the Viva Mexico 250, is set, with Trackhouse Racing star Shane van Gisbergen set to start from pole position.

The No. 88 produced the fastest lap time around the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez during Saturday's rain-affected qualifying session with a 92.776-second effort, just enough to deny the likes of Ryan Preece (-0.064) and team-mate Ross Chastain (-0.073), who will start second and third, respectively.
