Ferrari reveals striking yellow-flashed livery
Ferrari has revealed its striking red and yellow special edition livery for the Italian Grand Prix weekend.
The event will be used to mark the Scuderia's 75th anniversary and Monza's centenary, and as the team had done for its 1000th race celebrations in Mugello two years ago, a livery update has been delivered.
The F1-75 livery will feature 'several touches of yellow, with black inserts'.
The flashes will be visible on the front wing and around the halo but the biggest change will be seen on the engine cover and on the rear wing.
A statement read: "From the Scuderia’s beginnings in 1929 and later when the car company was founded 75 years ago, Enzo Ferrari chose yellow, which along with blue is one of the colours of the Modena emblem, to feature on the company’s coat of arms, the Prancing Horse with the tricolour band at the top.
"It’s a very special look to mark a very special occasion, the 100-year anniversary of the Monza circuit."
Similar changes will be made to the race suits for Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz.
The team will be aiming for its first home victory at Monza since Leclerc won in 2019.
No red without yellow 💛
