Ferrari issue winning warning after last two failures
The Scuderia has lost the lead in two successive races
Ferrari team principal Mattia Binotto believes winning in F1 is "another difficulty level" that will take time to learn.
The Scuderia looked on course to win in both Spain and Monaco at the last two races yet came away with only one second-place finish and two fourths.
Charles Leclerc retired when comfortably leading in Spain before strategic mistakes undermined his bid for a home win around the streets of the principality recently.
The results have left Max Verstappen and Red Bull in the lead of both championships despite Ferrari's fast start to the season after Leclerc won two of the first three races and was second in the other.
Assessing what has unfolded over the last two races, Binotto said: "Certainly, it's a disappointment.
"When you have the fastest car, scoring pole and not winning the race, it's a disappointment.
"What happened in Spain was a completely different story. Obviously, we had a reliability issue while we were clearly leading the race.
"In Monaco, there were circumstances that made our life a bit more difficult, but we were not great in judging and deciding."
Insisting Ferrari will learn lessons from the failures, Binotto added: "Yes, it's a disappointment, but I'm pretty sure those situations will make us stronger.
"We are aware being competitive is fact, [but] winning is another task, another level of difficulty.
"As a team, we are progressing, learning, and maybe it will take some more time."
