Max Verstappen will headline the 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual racing with Team Redline against a pair of Red Bull esports teams.
Verstappen will go toe to toe with his F1 employers in the virtual world as he joins 200 drivers in taking on the Le Mans Virtual event.
The race, which will take place across January 15-16, includes a number of high profile drivers including Juan Pablo Montoya, Alex Palou and Felix Rosenqvist.
Fernando Alonso will captain one of the two Alpine Esports teams but will not compete as a driver with Romain Grosjean's R8G outfit represented by three teams.
The race will be contested across two categories, LMP and GTE, with all LMP entrants using identical 'Oreca 07 LMP2' chassis.
GTE teams can select from a variety of vehicles with Porsche, BMW, Aston Martin, Corvette and Ferrari all set to feature.
Verstappen will partner Felix Rosenqvist, Maximilian Benecke and Atze Kerkhof in LMP whilst Red Bull boasts a car in each category.
In all, 200 drivers have signed up to compete in the virtual event that concludes the Le Mans Virtual Series with a mix of real-world and virtual driving talent going head to head.
Details are set to be announced in the coming days on how to follow the 24-hour event on TV and online.
