Hamilton and Verstappen's dramatic finale in pictures

Max Verstappen became champion in dramatic fashion after a last-lap overtake on Lewis Hamilton at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Like the 2021 season as a whole, the Yas Marina finale had it all with great racing and controversy in equal measure.

Hamilton took the lead into turn one after a lightning-fast start

Only for Verstappen to lunge back at him. Hamilton cut the chicane and no investigation was necessary
