The story of Ayrton Senna's tragic passing at the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix is well-known, but what followed in the immediate aftermath is generally not as familiar to Formula 1 fans. Martin Brundle and Sky Sports put that right over the Monaco Grand Prix weekend with a fascinating look into the events that followed.

Imola '94 will always be one of F1's darkest days, but much good did come from the tragedy, with safety concerns prompting those on the grid to reform the Grand Prix Drivers' Association.

The group remains prevalent to this day, giving drivers a platform to have a say on the safety of the sport in which they participate in.

Brundle was appointed the chairman of the newly reformed group 25 years ago, alongside Michael Schumacher as his right-hand man.

The Sky pundit put together a brilliant segment, which aired during Sky's Monaco GP coverage, detailing the safety improvements that came as a result of Senna's passing, and that of Roland Ratzenberger.
