VIDEO: Hamilton's embarrassing mistake... that could earn a punishment
Lewis Hamilton making a mistake in the pit-lane entry – where have we heard that one before?! Luckily his mishap in free practice one for the Abu Dhabi GP wasn't quite of China 2007 proportions, but needing to cross the white line in order to get into the pit lane could earn him a reprimand.
Hamilton overshot his pit-lane entry and had to put his Mercedes into reverse in order to make it in for a service from the Silver Arrows' crew.

As amusing as the mishap looks, there was a serious side as stewards confirmed that Hamilton would be summoned to face questions over the incident.
Crossing the track limits is not even new to Hamilton in 2018.
He made a last-gasp decision to stay out at the German GP amid massive confusion over team radio from his race engineer Pete Bonington.
That move helped Hamilton take victory at Hockenheim, but a reprimand was deemed to be punishment enough.
