'Amazing' that I haven't won a race yet - Bottas
Valtteri Bottas believes it is "disappointing and amazing" that he hasn't won a Grand Prix race in the 2018 Formula One season yet, but remains hopeful of securing a good finish in the upcoming Singapore Grand Prix at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.
Whether it be due to bad performances, or simply bad luck, Bottas is yet to claim the flag in a 2018 GP, and he failed to hide his disappointment at the fact.
"I really want to win races, that’s why I’m here," Bottas told the media.
“For me, it’s quite disappointing and amazing that I haven’t won a race this year, It’s been quite close many times, especially in the first third of the season."
The Finn is currently 97 points behind his team-mate, Lewis Hamilton, in the driver rankings, but he has insisted he will continue to fight for race wins.
“I don’t think the only way the next few races is that Lewis is secure in the title," Bottas continued.
"If I have a good pace, a good qualifying, I’m strong in the race, I think I can definitely win.B ut for sure it’s a bit more simple if Lewis secures the title."

Bottas went on to preview the upcoming Singapore GP, and admitted that he does not quite know how competitive Mercedes will be as Red Bull and Ferrari both have the attributes to impress in a track which suits them.
“The Ferrari is quick everywhere" he admitted.
"Red Bull will be quick in Singapore. For us, we don’t really know how competitive we are going to be. But we are going to go there, try to get more points than Ferrari.
"It is very close. There is not much in the cars, so it definitely will be interesting seeing in Singapore if we have made improvements for that kind of track.
"I think all the tracks coming up it really depends how good the upgrades we are bringing are going to be, and which upgrade they are going to bring. Any small gain is going to be a big benefit.”
