Estrella Galicia has been with Sainz in F1

Ferrari has signed a long-time sponsor of Carlos Sainz in Spanish non-alcoholic beer Estrella Galicia 0,0.

The brand has backed Sainz since he broke into Formula 1 in 2015 with Toro Rosso, moving with him when he later joined Renault and then McLaren.

Following a two-year stint with McLaren, Sainz has now joined Ferrari on a two-year deal, with Estrella Galicia remaining loyal to the 26-year-old in signing up with the Scuderia.

Via a social media post, Sainz said: "Very happy to continue with @EG00 in this new adventure. Thanks to everyone in this great family for your unconditional support after so many years."

Ferrari has declared Estrella Galicia 0,0 as the 'official beer' of the team.

Ferrari team principal Mattia Binotto said: "We are pleased to embark on this new partnership with Estrella Galicia 0,0, an emerging brand in the global beer sector.

"We share many values with the Spanish company, such as the pursuit of excellence, respect for tradition and ties to our geographic roots and the craftsmanship of our product.

"Furthermore, Estrella Galicia 0,0 has been present in motorsport for many years, paying particular attention to talented youngsters, which is something else we have in common."
