Mercedes' hybrid-era dominance in numbers

Mercedes secured a record-breaking sixth straight title double at the Japanese Grand Prix, rubber-stamping the most dominant run in Formula 1 history.

Valtteri Bottas won at Suzuka, with Lewis Hamilton in third and taking the extra point for fastest lap to secure the constructors' championship and eliminate all other drivers bar the Silver Arrows' from the individual title race.

It eclipses Ferrari's five-season run of title success with Michael Schumacher at the wheel at the turn of the century.

No other constructor has taken a grand prix victory since the start of the 2014 season. Williams took the only non 'top three' pole of the V6 Hybrid era at the 2014 Austrian GP.
