Tyler Reddick has offered a non-commital response when quizzed on his 23XI Racing future after the team lost their Cup Series charters.

23XI, along with Front Row Motorsports, sued NASCAR last October, alleging anticompetitive and monopolistic practices after refusing to sign up to the series' new charter agreement.

Despite that, 23XI have been able to race as a chartered team so far in 2025 after a court injunction in December granted them de-facto status due to a clause in the charter agreement that prevents teams from suing NASCAR.

Another factor also cited was the fact that Reddick could leave the team due to a clause in his contract that means 23XI must provide him with a chartered car; otherwise, he would become a free agent.

Reddick on 23XI future after NASCAR charters removed

Following recent exchanges in court, NASCAR successfully had the injunction allowing 23XI to race with their charters overturned, and despite multiple attempts to prevent them from being removed, the team are racing at Dover this weekend, and Indianapolis next, as open entries.

23XI were denied a temporary restraining order earlier this week to prevent that, and, if they are also denied the separate injunction they filed for at the same time, the result of which is yet to emerge, they could lose their charters for good.

It was recently revealed that numerous teams are eyeing Reddick amid the ongoing uncertainty at 23XI, and now, the driver himself has failed to commit his future to the team.

Asked about the lawsuit, the team's charters and his 23XI future, Reddick told media at Dover, via Kelly Crandall of Racer: "I don't have a comment at this time."

Concerningly, 23XI co-owner Denny Hamlin also had a similar answer when quizzed on Reddick's future by Jeff Gluck of The Athletic: "I don't have any direct comment to that."

Whilst no mid-season movement is expected, it will certainly be interesting to see how this legal situation plays out and where Reddick's future lies come the end of 2025.
