Bubba Wallace driving in the NASCAR Chicago Street Race

The 2025 NASCAR Cup Series hits Chicago, today (Sunday, July 6th) for the Grant Park 165.

Sunday's race marks the third Cup Series event hosted at the track, with the inaugural event won by this year's favorite Shane van Gisbergen and the 2024 edition seeing Alex Bowman punch his playoff ticket.

Van Gisbergen will start from first on Sunday, having taken a dominant pole by almost half a second around the streets of the Windy City, with Michael McDowell sharing the front row with him.

With 12 drivers currently locked in, there are now just four playoff spots up for grabs via points, although a new winner today would see that number reduced further.

With that said, let's get into all of the details you need to know ahead of today's action!
