Charles Leclerc made a short drive from Ferrari's Maranello factory gates to the Fiorano test track in the 2020 Formula 1 entry on Thursday.
On March 12, 1947, Enzo Ferrari drove out of the iconic Maranello gates in the first car to bear his name, the 125 S.
Recreating those scenes, Leclerc returned to the wheel of a Formula 1 car for the first time in 110 days.
Although the drive was short and offered no opportunity to learn anything about the car, the new Formula 1 health and safety protocols were visible - most notably through the use of face masks.
