After Monday saw a number of Formula 1's big guns hit the ground running for pre-season, many if the younger talents will take over for the second day of action in Barcelona. Charles Leclerc will be in action for Ferrari, while Red Bull will run with Pierre Gasly.

Also running on Tuesday will be Lance Stroll, Lando Norris, Alex Albon and Antonio Giovinazzi – each in their first full season for their new employers.

Stroll will be hoping to fare better than Racing Point teammate Sergio Perez, who managed just 30 laps on Monday.

Mercedes and Renault will once gain deploy both drivers, while Kevin Magnussen takes charge for Haas.

Williams are once again absent, as they struggle to finish the FW42, which remains at the team's base in Grove.

Last season's bottom team hope to get going on Wednesday, but it is reported that a further delay may be likely, and the new car will be down on performance when it does hit the track.
