The 2018 season of Formula One is around a month away and anticipation is building as we approach testing next week, and with a new campaign comes an array of new livery designs and aerodynamic changes...including the introduction of the new halo safety device.

Team: Ferrari

Drivers: Sebastian Vettel, Kimi Raikkonen

Technical director Mattia Binotto: "It is an evolution of last year's car which was already a good project. We tried to maintain the strengths, aggressiveness of some of the design, and working well on low-speed circuits. But we also had to work on aerodynamic development to make it strong on high-speed circuits but as well on reliability.

Team: Mercedes

Drivers: Lewis Hamilton, Valtteri Bottas

Boss Toto Wolff: "We've tried to stay true to our design philosophy and develop an already solid base. We hope we have kept the good character traits of the diva," Wolff said. "We all like divas. But sometimes she was a bit difficult to understand and this is the area where we worked the most, trying to understand and preserve the speed in the car and find more driveability.

Team: Red Bull

Drivers: Max Verstappen, Daniel Ricciardo

Verstappen: "In general I hope the car will look great and hopefully it is fast Hopefully it is a good step forward and we have got straight away a good car for the beginning of the year, so we are not really chasing, like we did last year."

Team: Williams

Drivers: Lance Stroll, Sergey Sirotkin

Technical officer Paddy Lowe: “The car has many new features, most of which are not all that obvious, but externally the team has pursued a very different aerodynamic concept which has allowed us some significant progress in aerodynamic performance.”

Team: Renault

Drivers: Nico Hulkenberg, Carlos Sainz

Hulkenberg: "When I have visited Enstone and seen everything going on with the development of the R.S.18, I'm very enthused about the season ahead, Add that to the news from Viry about the development of the power unit and everything looks and sounds good; it's all positive and there are exciting times ahead."

Team: Toro Rosso

Drivers: Pierre Gasly, Brendon Hartley

Hartley: "Finally got to put my racing onesie and slippers back on today. We had our filming day at a very wet Misano in our new TR13. The new girl ran super smooth."

Team: Haas

Drivers: Romain Grosjean, Kevin Magnussen

Team principal Guenther Steiner: “The biggest part of the car’s evolution was the addition of the halo. It took quite a bit of study by the aerodynamicists, but the designers had to work hard to modify the chassis so the halo could survive the mandated loads."

Team: McLaren

Drivers: Fernando Alonso, Stoffel Vandoorne

Boss Zak Brown: “Our return to a papaya orange livery for this year wasn’t simply an emotional decision; it demonstrates that we are listening to our fans, building deeper engagement with them and the Formula 1 community as a whole."

Team: Alfa Romeo Sauber

Drivers: Marcus Ericsson, Charles Leclerc

Technical director Jorg Zander: "The philosophy is much different to that of the C36. The aerodynamic concept has changed significantly, and the C37 has several new features in comparison to its predecessor. We are positive that the new concept offers us more opportunities and will help us to make improvements during the course of the season."
