Kyle Busch dealt playoff blow as multiple drivers drop down the order at Dover

The latest NASCAR Cup Series regular season and playoff standings are in following Sunday's race at Dover Motor Speedway, with Kyle Busch dealt a setback.

Despite Busch finishing 11th and collecting stage points along the way during Sunday's action, the No. 8 driver has lost ground in his chase for a playoff place.

Winless so far in 2025, Busch is looking to point his way into the postseason, and after back-to-back top 10s in recent weeks, the 40-year-old had been increasingly closing the gap to the cut line, entering Dover just 35 points adrift of Bubba Wallace in 16th.

However, with Wallace finishing seventh on Sunday and also collecting stage points in stage two, Busch has fallen further behind, now facing a 39-point deficit with just five regular-season races to go.

Denny Hamlin now leads the way in the playoff standings following his victory on Sunday after he became the only driver to reach four victories so far this season.

Hamlin does not lead in the regular season standings, however, where there was plenty of movement post-Dover, with Chase Elliott now leading the way at the top, demoting Hendrick Motorsports teammate William Byron to second.

Byron was one of multiple stars to fall down the order after Sunday's race, with the likes of Tyler Reddick and Ross Chastain also losing ground inside the top 10.

With all of that said, you can see how the full picture in both the playoff and regular season standings looks below.
