The owner of a NASCAR Cup Series team is set to get behind the wheel of one of his cars this weekend for a very special event.

That's right, Trackhouse Racing have released an official statement confirming that team owner Justin Marks will be driving their No. 87 Chevrolet at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, which is set to take place from July 10-13.

Goodwood Festival of Speed is a historic motorsport event held annually in the United Kingdom that celebrates motorsport culture, with a host of different cars on show throughout the event each year, including vintage cars, supercars, and F1 machinery.

NASCAR has played an increasing role at the Goodwood in recent years, and this year, Cup Series machinery will be there for all to see.

Speaking as part of the statement that confirmed the news, Marks called it an 'honor' for NASCAR and his team, thanking Trackhouse's partners for making it a possibility.

"This is quite the honor for both Trackhouse Racing and NASCAR,” said Marks.

“NASCAR held its first points race in recent history in Mexico last month, and it was a huge success.

"Expanding our fan base globally is a goal for everyone in our sport, and there's no better place to showcase our sport than the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

"I want to thank our friends at Red Bull and Chevrolet for making this happen.”

The No. 87 Chevrolet has competed in three Cup Series races so far in 2025, with Connor Zilisch having piloted the car at Circuit of the Americas, the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte, and Atlanta.

The best finish of those three outings was the latter, with Zilisch achieving a P11 at EchoPark Speedway, formerly known as Atlanta Motor Speedway.
