Sunday's Chicago Street Race produced a massive upset in the NASCAR In-Season Challenge for the second week in a row.

Ty Dillon, the #32 and last seed coming into the single elimination tournament, progressed past top seed Denny Hamlin last week at Atlanta and glided into the final eight past Brad Keselowski in the Windy City.

Dillon has benefitted twice in as many races from massive wrecks, with Hamlin wrecking out at Atlanta of his own accord before Keselowski was taken out in a chain reaction incident started by Carson Hocevar.

That wreck brought out the red flag and ended the races of five of the participants, with Keselowski one of them.

Wallace and Bowman clash again in Chicago

Elsewhere, Bubba Wallace was knocked out by Alex Bowman after a fiery battle in the final laps which resulted in the 23XI Racing star getting wrecked into the wall after some intensely physical racing.

Bowman seemed less than impressed with his rival's racing style after the race, questioning why Wallace would be so aggressive in making continual contact with a clearly faster car with much newer tyres.

Dillon will face Bowman in the next round at Sonoma, with John Hunter Nemechek matched up with Erik Jones, Ryan Preece facing off against Tyler Reddick and Ty Gibbs taking on Zane Smith.

Bowman and Gibbs are the only top-10 seeds remaining in the tournament, ranked eighth and sixth respectively.
