Grosjean laps "mega" Barber ahead of IndyCar debut
Romain Grosjean has started to get to grips with Barber motor park ahead of his IndyCar debut on February 22.
Grosjean will return to the cockpit for the first time since his Bahrain crash when making his official IndyCar debut with Dale Coyne Racing on Monday.
Ahead of the test, the Frenchman has spent time lapping Barber motor park on his home simulator.
The former Haas F1 driver posted a video on social media of himself pushing the limits of the track, describing certain corners as "very tricky" and "absolutely mega".
He also conceded he is still searching for the correct "solution" to some areas of the track with multiple lines available depending on the driving style of individual drivers.
Super excited to fly over the Atlantic to discover a new world. Made some laps back home on my simulator to learn Barber motor park. Find out how it goes here https://t.co/SyJFWf19J5#r8g @r8gesports

Grosjean will contest only the road course events on the IndyCar calendar this year. This means the Frenchman will not race at the Indianapolis 500 in May.
When announcing his decision to race in the United States, Grosjean provided an update on the injuries sustained in his horrific crash at the Bahrain Grand Prix.
"The left hand is the one that is the most damaged," he said. "The right is good. Left, the skin is here, there isn’t anywhere… it is 98 per cent fully recovered on the surface.
"It is still a very pink, new-type skin and I have got a lot of exercises in the day and mobility to get it working. I had the left thumb ligament that was also pulled away so I had to get surgery on it but it is quite stable.
"So I am also focusing on rehab and getting it to work and the mobility on it. Until you reach six months, it is difficult to know if you are going to lose mobility or not. Some days are going good, some days are more complicated, more painful and difficult."
