Heads were turned at the Race of Champions as sim-racing star Enzo Bonito beat champions from Formula E and IndyCar on-track. Bonito got the better of Lucas Di Grassi, FE champion in 2017, and 2012 IndyCar series winner Ryan Hunter Reay in one-on-one action.

Bonito raced for McLaren in the 2018 F1 Esports series, finishing 12th in the standings.

The Italian proved that his sim skills are transferrable to a real car, getting the better of former F1 racer Di Grassi in Saturday's Nations Cup action as he took part for Team Sim Racing All Star, with James Baldwin, who beat F1 series champion Brendon Leigh to be crowned eROC champion this year.

Not content with his victory over Di Grassi on Saturday, Bonito was at it again a day later.

Taking on Hunter Reay, a former winner of the Indianapolis 500, as well as the IndyCar championship, Bonito delivered a dominant performance to beat him in the sprint race by over a second.
