VIDEO: Hamilton says Mercedes W10 can inspire 'even better' 2019
Lewis Hamilton is confident that he and Mercedes can achieve even greater things in 2019, despite a record-breaking double title triumph last season. Hamilton became the first F1 driver to break the 400-point barrier in a season as he and the Silver Arrows secured fifth titles in the drivers and constructors' championship respectively.
Hamilton proved too strong for Sebastian Vettel and a resurgent Ferrari once again in 2018, but the Silver Arrows dominance may be tested by a raft of new regulation changes for the coming season, aimed at improving the on-track spectacle.

Although Silver Arrows boss Toto Wolff says the team will not rule out anyone from bringing a threat in 2019, Hamilton plans to leave them trailing in his wake once again regardless.
"I had a great Christmas with my family and then I went snowmobiling, I went skiing, I went surfing with Kelly Slater, which was amazing," Hamilton said in a team release after the W10 was unveiled on Wednesday.
It’s here ???? What do you all think of the new livery this year?! ???????? I am seriously excited to be driving this car for the first time today! Stick around for more...? #WelcomeW10 @MercedesAMGF1 pic.twitter.com/lb2IkwK3TV — Lewis Hamilton (@LewisHamilton) February 13, 2019
"I completely switched off from racing for a while, trying to focus and re-centre myself and training hard for the new season. 2018 was a great year, but I feel like 2019 can be even better.
"I want to achieve more, I want to continue to keep pushing. I feel energised and I'm ready to attack."
