NASCAR legend Kevin Harvick has revealed a key concern regarding 23XI Racing, the Cup Series team co-owned by Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin.

23XI came in to the 2025 season with three full-time cars, but with eight races to go in the regular season, none of Bubba Wallace, Tyler Reddick, or Riley Herbst has won a race.

As a result, none of the 23XI drivers are yet locked into the playoffs, and, speaking on the Happy Hour podcast ahead of Saturday's race in Atlanta, Harvick has revealed he is worried about their speed at this stage of the campaign. "I would say that there are some concerns about the 23XI speed in general," Harvick explained.

"I don't think Reddick has been as fast. I think Bubba started really well and has been kind of average, I'd say, in a lot of the most recent weeks.

"So I think that to me, the speed part from the 45 car is concerning to me."

Kevin Harvick worried about 23XI speed

Harvick continued: I think that he's [Wallace] done a good job with his experience in keeping the cars in races and getting decent finishes out of it,"

"But that overall raw speed I haven't seen from either one of them [him or Reddick] in several weeks."

Sunday's race at Atlanta proved another difficult outing for Wallace, who ended up 22nd to mark his second consecutive week finishing outside of the top 20.

In fact, five of his last eight races have been 22nd or below, with four of those coming between P33 and P36.

As a result, Wallace is right on the bubble in terms of the playoff chase, just 23 points above Ryan Preece below the cut line.

It was at least a better day for Reddick in Atlanta, finishing the race in fourth and extending his points gap over the cut line to 128.
