NASCAR star Kyle Larson mocks beef between Cup Series rivals

NASCAR star Kyle Larson has mocked the ongoing beef between two of his Cup Series rivals.

Carson Hocevar and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. had a big falling out over the weekend, with Hocevar punting Stenhouse Jr off-track in Mexico City and angering the driver of the No. 47.

Stenhouse Jr made his feelings very well known to the Spire Motorsports driver post-race, marching over towards him after the checkered flag and leaning into his car, threatening to beat him up once they arrived back in the United States.

The rivalry between Hocevar and Stenhouse Jr. first started to heat up at Nashville earlier this month, when the 22-year-old caused a race-ending wreck for the No. 47.

Following that event and ahead of the following race at Michigan, the pair had a phone call and calmed the tensions, but Hocevar's actions on Sunday once again enraged the Hyak Motorsports driver.

Larson pokes fun at Hocevar and Stenhouse Jr incident

Hocevar has since joked that he might have to move to Mexico to hide from Stenhouse Jr, and now, 2021 Cup Series champion Kyle Larson has weighed in on the beef.

Taking to Instagram, Larson posted a picture of himself alongside Stenhouse Jr. and manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Dave Roberts, with a caption referencing his fellow Cup Series star’s outburst.

“Stenhouse Jr getting a lecture from manager Dave Roberts on how to control his anger,” Larson wrote.

Somewhat ironically, just hours after the post, Roberts was ejected from the Dodgers-Padres game at Dodger Stadium for furiously protesting what he later called an intentional hit on Shohei Ohtani.

Let's hope Stenhouse Jr has also taken advice elsewhere on how to keep himself calm next time he meets Hocevar!
