NASCAR Truck Series Qualifying Today: Texas 2025 start times, schedule, and live TV details

The 2025 NASCAR Truck Series hits Texas Motor Speedway today (Friday, May 2) for the Speedycash.com 250, with qualifying action first up.

The Truck Series took a weekend off as the Cup and Xfinity Series raced at Talladega last weekend, meaning the last Truck event was a fortnight ago at Rockingham.

EDITOR'S NOTE: NASCAR has announced that today's practice and qualifying sessions have been cancelled due to adverse weather.

The starting grid for Friday night's race will now be set as per the NASCAR rule book.

That day, Tyler Ankrum ran out as the comfortable winner in the No. 18 McAnally-Hilgemann Chevrolet, snapping a 130-race winless streak in doing so.

With his victory, Ankrum moved up to third in the Truck Series regular season standings, with the 24-year-old 62 points behind current championship leader Corey Heim heading to Texas.

In between Heim and Ankrum is Chandler Smith, who is 22 points behind the standings' current leader, whilst Daniel Hemric and Layne Riggs round out the current top five.

No. Unfortunately, NASCAR Truck Series qualifying is not being shown live on television today.

In 2025, FOX Sports have the rights to broadcast the NASCAR Truck Series, but are not showing qualifying from Texas on TV.

Fortunately, race action later in the day will be shown live on FOX Sports 1.
