Hamilton relishing Verstappen fight in 2019
Lewis Hamilton has tipped Red Bull to challenge at the front with Honda power in 2019 and is excited for closer battles with Max Verstappen in the years to come. Hamilton pipped the Dutchman to win in Brazil last weekend, but the victory was assisted by Verstappen's collision with Esteban Ocon.
Verstappen is seen in many eyes as the heir to Hamilton as F1's dominant force in years to come – indeed the Dutchman says he wants to match the Brit's title haul over the next decade.
Red Bull have been making positive noises about their union with Honda from next year, having grown frustrated with Renault's failure to keep pace with Mercedes and Ferrari in the V6 Hybrid era.
Rather than shy away from the fight, Hamilton is relishing challenges from multiple angles in 2019.

"This year they've been incredibly strong and I can only imagine next year, they're going to be even stronger," Hamilton said of Red Bull – winners of four grands prix this year.
"I think for the sport it will be great if Red Bull are more in the battle with Ferrari and Mercedes and we welcome any more teams.
"Max is driving really well this year. He's such an awesome, young talent. I'm looking forward to many races with him.
"At the weekend in Brazil, we had the engine problems so I didn't feel I was really able to fight with him on track but I'm looking forward to the day that happens."
