VIDEO: Rider KO'd in TERRIFYING MotoGP crash

Michele Pirro escaped serious injury after he was involved in a horrifying crash during practice at MotoGP's Italian Grand Prix at Mugello. The Ducati Test Team rider had to be taken to hospital after being thrown from his bike at turn one, appearing to lose consciousness after his head thudded the tarmac. After being taken to hospital, Pirro was diagnosed with concussion and a dislocated shoulder.
