Simmey Hannifin Donaldson is a motorsport journalist and editor specializing in NASCAR. He covers the sport across the Cup Series, O'Reilly Auto Parts Series, and Truck Series, producing breaking news, live race reports, features, analysis, and opinion.

Simmey began his journalism career in soccer, covering Watford FC in the Premier League for Vavel International before moving on to Football League World, where he reported on the English Football League (EFL) for two and a half seasons, covering the Championship, League One and League Two.

A lifelong racing fan, Simmey later transitioned into motorsport journalism, joining GPFans Global as an F1 journalist and delivering news, features, and analysis as part of a team that drove record-breaking traffic to the site. He later became Chief Editor of GPFans US, continuing to cover F1 whilst expanding the site’s coverage of US motorsport in NASCAR and IndyCar.
